I am a writer and publicist. A Magna Cum Laude Creative Writing graduate of Ohio University, I am currently working on a Creative Writing Certificate at Glendale Community College, where I attend as an English scholarship student. My writing has appeared in The Gila River Review, ASU West’s Canyon Voices, and earned first place in The Traveler non-fiction contest. I recently finished my novel, Life without Harry, and I’m currently shopping for an agent.
In my blessed free time, I watch bad horror films, root for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Michigan Wolverines, and enjoy a good IPA. I’m married to my best friend, Jacob, and I play mother to dog-children, Ripley and Raylan. We live in Phoenix, Arizona.
My blog takes you on a ride around public relations and book promotion; popular (and not-so-popular) film, music, and books; the culture and excitement of Arizona; and finally, into the realm of my creative writing, as I travel the long road of publishing my new novel. Stop by anytime.

I miss Charleston! I have been working there every month but past years business has been difficult to be able to make the trip from Indiana.
Sara, I appreciate your efforts. Appears to be a good way to keep current with Charleston!
Just found your site today while researching David Sedaris.
Thanks so much for stopping by, Jack! Charleston is an amazing city
And Sedaris is an amazing dude! Hope to see you again on the blogosphere!
Sara…
Just a word of thanks for the outstanding review of this year’s Boone Hall BBQ and Bluegrass Festival.
Glad you had a good time.
I, too, thought the Carolina Chocolate Drops were phenomenal.
Great day at Boone Hall.
Thanks for coming.
Please call me if I can help you with anything related to covering Boone Hall.

Hi Sara!,
This was pure delight , reading your blog! The Carolina Chocolate Drops are great. There was another incredible show, bluegrass oriented in Chas that night, The Lovell Sisters played at the Charleston Music Hall. They got a big thumbs up from Ophra, which can only be a good thing.
I have a daughter, just started Cof C, this is sure a great time of year downtown.

Hi Sara! I met you at Sun Devil last week at AZ Girls Pint Out (was sitting on your right). I was googling to see if there were any reviews of the event and found your blog – great writeup! Now you’ve got me reading some of the others instead of working (love the wedding dress photos – yeah… don’t do those!)
Anyway, it was great meeting you and hope to see you at another AGPO event soon!
Lisa
Glad you liked the post!!! (And I promise I won’t go for any of the ugly wedding dresses haha!) Nice to meet you, as well. I will probably be at the March 31 event. Hope to see you then!
